The purpose of this study is to analyze a critical issue within Argentine society: the correlation between femicides and firearms or more accurately, small arms and light weapons (hereinafter, SALW). Separately, these are issues that spark major debates. But together and interconnected, they reveal a multidimensional and multi-causal problem that demands an analysis rooted in both gender mainstreaming and intersectionality.
