Women and a Culture of Peace: Reflections from an International Dialogue
Education plays a fundamental role in building more just, inclusive, and peaceful societies. As part of the International Conference “Education and Dialogue,” the presentation “Women and Culture of Peace in Argentina” explored the essential contribution of women to peacebuilding through education, community leadership, and social participation.
The paper examined how gender equality and intercultural dialogue strengthen democratic values and foster environments where respect, empathy, and human rights can flourish. It also highlighted the importance of educational spaces as catalysts for preventing violence, promoting inclusion, and empowering future generations to become active agents of peace.
Participating in international academic forums like this one reinforces the value of collaborative dialogue and shared knowledge in advancing a more equitable and peaceful world.
