ImpLab 2026 DOSSIER

Last Friday, June 19, 2026, I had the opportunity to participate, on behalf of LCDPV, in the panel discussion Organized Civil Society: Impact, Sustainability, and the Contestation of the Public Sphere, held at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), as part of the ImpLab 2026 Dossier.

It was a timely and much-needed space to reflect on the present and future of the third sector in Latin America—its challenges, tensions, and political potential—in a context where conversations about rights, sustainability, and impact cannot be reduced to comfortable narratives or good intentions.

Organizations working from a gender, diversity, human rights, and cultural transformation perspective are also an essential part of this conversation: how we build more just societies, influence the public sphere, and sustain agendas that are often uncomfortable, yet undeniably urgent.
